But anyway, with regards to the great bloke down south that took down the gunman recently, it appears that a lot of money has been raised for him. At first I read $200,000. Then last night I think it was about one million. Awesome. And I see that people want him to be “Australian of the year”.

Now we know that won’t happen as that surely must go to Gina Reinhardt…( A big fat /S just to make sure. )

As for the heat yesterday, good God that was horrible. A “real feel” of 39. I daresay it was even hotter than that. Damn awful. It was interesting to see the storm warning vanish in the afternoon. I really thought we were in for one but it goes to show how little I know about these things.

Thankfully it looks like we’re in for a cooler week with temps around 26. Not complaining about that.

Yes it makes you wonder how we would react. That bloke doesn’t particularly look like a marine or CIA, but damn he did really well.

Tacked and disarmed, like he trained for it. I also think about people that don’t act and then have to think about that forever. Must weigh on one’s mind. Indeed a fight or flight moment.

And as I’m writing this I can’t help but think about those cowardly cops in Uvalde. Standing around for ages, even dicking about and laughing. I hope none of them sleep peacefully ever again, dicks.

But anyway, good on our hero for jumping in like he did. May all the good things happen to him.

And of course our thoughts are with the deceased and the many people they have unfortunately left behind. Life will never be the same for so many people involved or affected.
