You didn’t read my comment and never intended to, then.
Republicans think that a joke is what you retroactively call something you said in earnest as soon as you get pushback.
Vote this election then.
I already have. How many times do I have to say that I HAVE ALREADY VOTED FOR HARRIS.
And then campaign after the election.
Centrists are great at coming up with excuses for why it’s never the time to do what they don’t want to do. There will be a new excuse and a new timetable for when it will be acceptable to say anything in opposition to centrists’ genocide. When that passes, there will be another date and another excuse.

Can you help me understand why you think people want genocide?
Sure. First of all, Republicans want genocide and Netanyahu wants genocide. These are both givens.
The thing I’ve seen that convinced me is how quickly centrist Democrats give up on every other issue, and how devoted they are to maintain the support for genocide at all costs. This is where they grew a backbone. This is their hill. They’re willing to risk democracy itself rather than budge so much as a Planck length on this one issue.
And express the slightest displeasure at how Democrats have deferred leadership to a right-wing genocidal despot an ocean away, and centrists immediately scream that you’re a Trumper or a Russian.
There is a lot more going on in the Middle East than any American citizen can understand.
“Oh, your feeble anti-genocide mind just can’t imagine the vastness of why we have to keep doing everything Netanyahu wants!”
Democracy is on the line. Our singleminded devotion to the right-wing government of a genocidal apartheid state is less important than preserving democracy itself. But not to Democrats.
That breaks down when you consider how long Democrats have been moving to the right in order to appease Republican voters. Republicans aren’t known for consistently voting dem.
The thought process is basically: If we win, it’s because we moved to the right. We should move to the right more. If we lose, it’s because we didn’t move far enough to the right. We should move to the right more.
Hey, just one human to another. That “Voting isn’t a love letter, it’s a chess move” just does absolufuckinglutely nothing and comes across as insulting/pompous on your part.
Pretty sure that’s the intent.
I knew all these single issue fake leftists were full of shit when it was revealed that Trump has been sabotaging peace talks and they weren’t immediately outraged by that revelation.
Why would anyone even be surprised by that? We’re mad because Democrats see what’s happening between Trump and Netanyahu and are doing what Netanyahu wants anyway.
All she needed was to say: " what Israel is doing is an acceptable, I withdraw my support to Biden, and I am running on a peaceful foreign policy"
No, you don’t understaaaaaand! Because of this new convenient rule of decorum we just made up, she caaaaaan’t differ from Biden in any substantive way! Unless it involves clumsy attempts to appease the fascist party, like promising to put one of them in her cabinet!
Or start spewing abuse when people think that politicians should stop supporting genocide, as seen here.
Already voted for Harris.
You just want critics of genocide to shut up and be as happy as you are about it.
I already voted for Harris. I do not believe she will move on this issue, unless it’s to the right.
Democrats could have passed the John Lewis Voting Rights Act to restore voting protections. But the Jim Crow Filibuster was more important.
I want the genocide to end now. You keep pretending it’s not a genocide.
I wrote that the war should end and you suggest I will only be satisfied if all Palestinians are killed.
That is one way for the genocide to end.
So one piece of well-placed libel that isn’t enough by itself to incur moderation.
Ignoring it lets the libel stand. Ignoring it enough turns the libel into accepted wisdom. Reporting it does nothing because it’s not enough by itself. Engaging with it results in repetition of the libel. Few cycles of that, slapfight ban.
She has already made it clear that Biden’s policy regarding Gaza is her policy. She has taken sides on the issue already. You just like the side she took.
