Why didn’t you tell this librarian that you’d asked another librarian and they said it was okay to plug in? Why was none of this included in the original post?

Do you trust every one-sided story to be entirely accurate of all details?
And what does trust have to do with it? Can we use Ethernet here? If the person says no, would you just walk around the building until you found a port and plugged in?
The guy who posted that is pretty well known in this instance for being a reliable information source on events happening in Ohio. They’re not just a random user.
Not really. It depends on what it is. There are entire games and items that aren’t available in the US, but make a killing in Asia.
Like, here’s Genshin Impact numbers from 2023.
On that game, the US comes in at 7th, is less than half of the top country (Japan) and is notably behind Switzerland.
For Tik Tok specifically, we can look at their annual reports.
Let’s look at average annual users per region. 682M in Asia Pacific, which does not include China. 192M in North America.
China’s numbers are 750M daily.
I don’t think most of their money comes from the US.
Just watch video footage from 9/11 while the song is playing.
Most American bread has sugar added to it, even the ‘healthy’ stuff.
When I was trying to switch to healthier breads, I tried a Pepperidge Farm bread once. It was so sweet, it was like eating brioche, but it was marketed as just normal standard bread. Absolutely disgusting. I don’t buy that brand anymore at all.
Why would you ever divulge your master password to anyone? There’s not a reason to. Even if you die, you can set for someone else to get access to your account after X number of days, all without giving your master password.
I honestly don’t know why anyone would buy a Bronco.
They’re completely synonymous with OJ Simpson to me.
They would have to get through the Michigan Independent Citizens Redistricting Commission, which is already part of the state constitution after voters approved Proposal 18-2 in 2018.
I suppose that 13 bad actors could be randomly selected from the applications. It’s not statistically impossible.
I was so happy I could get my cat off of Purina.
What is this even trying to say? Are they stealing? Are they cheating on a diet? Like, it’s be your best, not be perfect at everything. Some days your best is just what it is and some days that’s something else.
There’s not enough context in this.
We also have that in Michigan. You still see bottles and cans places. Historically, there have a lot of ‘reward programs’ that incentivised keeping bottle caps separate (either from the company or occasionally locally for reasons). I also distinctly remember it being advertised that bottle needed to be capless for recycling, so we always removed the caps and tossed them. Only recently have I seen verbiage on bottles requesting them to be recycled with caps on, which I usually forget to do because it’s habit to toss the caps.
I’m sorry to tell you, the real solutions to keeping friends after they have kids are what you’ve said you don’t want. So, for you, it looks like you’ve already decided you don’t want to be friends with people who have kids. That leaves you with a much smaller pool of people and in an age bracket where it’s much more difficult to meet people.
Maybe try finding hobbies that don’t have kids in them.
What purpose does this serve other than alienating the people you’re trying to get on your side?
You have to have the alternatives in place before you can convince people to make a change.
Buses already take hours vs. minutes and any road construction that closes stops & routes down adds time and distance to an already long commute.
If you want people to choose your option, you have to make it an option worth choosing.
Some people just like to argue.
I also hate avocado.
