I suppose, yes. The library is turning drug infested and into a sex den. The comma is replacing all the words “and into a.” Which is essentially what you wrote. I guess i was trying to point out they were two separate situations and that drug infested is not describing the sex den. I was also trying to establish that commas can replace words and phrases. Although the example I gave above only replaced one word, it would make sense they would replace other words, as well, to shorten the headline.

I guess there are actual headline specific grammatical rules that are followed. While not a comprehensive list, some of these rules include leaving out auxiliary and some joining verbs, articles, conjunctions, etc, and replacing some words with various punctuation. Apparently, the list goes on.

I think they’re presenting it as two separate problems. Drug infested is not describing the sex den. It is drug infested. It is a sex den.

Edit: It’s odd they don’t let people browse I’m a more friendly way. And just so you know, once you sign up, you can search, make playlists, download for offline etc, the mostly same as spotify. When u first sign up, it also give you the option to migrate all your spotify plsylists over. Out of my thousands of songs saved, it did have 2 or 3 that didn’t transfer over due to just not having it.

You could check out deezer. It’s European and they have a classical music section. Not sure how good it is. It’s like $110 for a yearly subscription and they offer hi-fi streaming. Just another option for you to check out. 🤷

OK, but you can attach a piece of tape to a coin and use just 1 coin to power the entire load. Unless it has one of those load all the coins into a tray at the same time and push them in mechanisms. Which, in that case, fuck coins.

Only thing that pisses me off (besides the obvious fact that its my bank doing this, and i dont want ads) is that I get ads for the same stuff I just bought. If your supposed to be some all knowing awesome algorithm that understands me better than I understand myself, send me ads for stuff I might actually want, but haven’t bought yet. And even for construction purposes, most trucks nowadays are kinda pointless. A 4ft bed is good for hauling like 1 bike placed diagonally, much less a typical sized piece of lumber or plywood.

Can’t beg a place to sell you a 6ft bed unless you want to wait for it to come off the manufacturing line.

And, whats more, is that if your in Louisiana, Mississippi, or Texas, the protest organizer, too, gets punished for the bad behavior of others.

Its probably an unpopular opinion considering the comments here, but I think it should be said that maybe it comes easy for alot of people, but being a cook at a fast food joint like Dairy Queen or Culver’s absolutely takes a certain amount of skill. Skill not every person has, or can learn.

When a place is busy, takes a certain process of thought patterns and organization to keep track of all the different ingredients on the griddle, what stage they’re at while cooking, while ensuring everything is cooked in a timely manner.

Sure, many people can succeed at learning these skills, not everyone can. It is a skill, and honestly, it’s slightly upsetting to see people think it’s as easy as breathing, when it’s just not for some people. If it were actually that simple, you’d never have to check the bag to make sure they got the order right before you drive off and there wouldn’t be videos of fast food workers being mistreated for giving some jerk fries instead of onion rings. Ever.

Imo, although there is overlap, both jobs require some skills that different than the other. Typically, surgeons perform, at most, a handful of types of surgery (per surgery), on 1 or 2 people at a time. They know what surgery will be preformed ahead of time, so they can prepare, and there’s a typically a set procedure for the deviations or complications that may arise. Successfully improvising is what sets a great surgeon apart. And, if all is going well, they have teams that can stabilize the patient for an extended amount of time. Fast food workers are assembling multiple orders with multiple foods in minutes. It may take a surgeon years to learn proper surgery, but it doesn’t mean they have the skill or mindset that is required to flip burgers.

Especially when alone in the woods. I feel like many people are glossing over this important part of the question.

It’s not just any random guy you meet at starbucks, it’s a random guy out in the middle of the woods.
