  • So based on this post and your other, I’m assuming your new, if I’m actually right, welcome traveler.

Back in ye olden days before the orbital update all space station interiors looked EXACTLY the same, cut and paste same every time, blue color scheme(think in the prisims trailer at 1:23 you they redid the space stations graphics such as the back wall being an ai core rather than a flat black wall with a blue light (exteriors had variety this is just the interior)

Now we have different colored fogs, lights, color schemes and its some nice variety

So the pirate stations (where you can see a damaged AI core) and the abandoned stations which have the black wall from before the ai core are based

  • So yes all planets have one noon, a cold planet will be cold everytwhere, a desert planet will be desert everywhere

There are kind of sub biomes when it comes to terrain. For the most part planets will be a hilly type of terrain, but sometimes there will be spots where there are plateaus or cubes or donuts of terrain. The most extreme example I’ve had is the standard hills biome then I fly to a different spot of the planet with my pulse engine and it’s these extreme hills

Edit: forgot to add dead planets are the only one with a gravity difference
