It has to be from at least 2012. That’s when the Seaworld in the photo opened.

Fallout@lemmy.world•Fallout 76's latest update relaxes its building rules so you can try erecting a nuclear bunker in mid-airEnglish
1·3 months agoOoh this might get me back into 76 again. Camp building is my favorite part of the game. While there were tricks to do things like this, it was not easy at all. Excited to try this out.

Games@lemmy.world•Atari has acquired five Ubisoft games, including Child of Eden and Grow Home, and will re-release and ‘evolve’ them | VGCEnglish
1·3 months agoFair enough, but it’s really just a hope. I certainly don’t have confidence that it won’t turn to shit. But the gaming landscape could use some shakeup with some new/old players.

5·3 months agoI will say I am glad to see that the current Atari CEO is actually trying to do stuff with the brand again. It seemed like it was really dead for a long time. But it’s refreshing to see Atari celebrate it’s long and bumpy history. As well as trying to do new things in the modern gaming environment. I hope they can find some real success. It would be neat to see Atari actually become a big player again.

3·3 months agoI got this one a few days ago and I really enjoyed it. Took me about 10 hours for a 100% playthrough. You might get a little more time out of it depending on how you play. But the game does encourage you to speedrun it. There are 4 different “endings” which just consists of an art reward. The different endings are “any %”, “100%”, “speedrun any%” and “speedrun 100%”. I think to qualify for the speedrun endings you have to beat it in like 3 or 3 and a half hours, but I’d have to double check that timing.

Showerthoughts@lemmy.world•If you think about how big the universe is, the fact that we can manipulate energy on such a small scale, like raising the temperature of something by one degree is absolutely insane
8·4 months agoI would argue that’s the only thing that makes sense. Given the immense scale, everything has to be so much more localized. What would be much more insane to me is if we were able to raise the temperature of a huge chunk of space by a large amount. Like the universe right after the big bang.

Games@lemmy.world•What game sequel ruined a beloved franchise or character for you?English
4·4 months agoNo it definitely had an impact on the game. You had to either contribute enough of your personal wealth, or choose all the evil choices as regent, otherwise most of the citizens would die at the end. If you didn’t do it right, it left the world basically devoid of NPCs. For a series that made such a big deal about choice, the end of Fable III only had one right answer.

2·5 months agoOn that page, click “Real Bombchu” under Majora’s Mask. That’s the enemy being discussed. The blue and yellow one is an item. Real Bombchu appear around the canyon entrance in Termina Field during the day.

They also own Banfield. Talk about dystopian.
