I’ve been following this since it started. The Mt. Pleasant city council pulled a lot of shady shit to get this to happen. People tried protesting, but they were silenced. This is the conclusion to a 6 year con that anyone with half a brain could have seen coming. An LCD factory? No one uses LCD anymore, it’s all LED. And you can’t just swap out a few pieces of equipment to make the switch.
I love posts like this, it lets me know most people still don’t have the first clue what they’re talking about. It’s honestly a bit impressive how nearly every point you tried to make is either misleading or straight up wrong.
It’s really grocery stores fault. They sell them right next to each other and often have like 8 different brand choices of one but only 1 or 2 of the other which is nestled somewhere inbetween the others.

What is the country of origin? Please point out to me where the Aztec country is. Do you mean Mexico? Are they entitled to all the relics of the past civilizations theirs crushed? And yes, I know the idol in Indiana Jones isn’t really Aztec, but the overall point stands.
With the exception of the very few cases where a country can actually trace its culture and history all the way back to when those artifacts were made, ancient culture and artifacts belong to humanity as a whole, not whatever geopolitical entity happens to control the land they’re on at the time of discovery. It’s not a natural resource, it’s human history.
A workday was also like 4 hours or less in biblical times though.
The idea that people in the past worked long, grueling hours due to lack of technology is a myth. People had way more free time in those days.
