Ok, I’d be down, I fucking love wolf spiders. Happy workers day to them, indeed.

I’d just like to point out that the shotgun and 100 rounds of ammo are likely a lot more than that now

ADHD@lemmy.world•How do you feel about and handle people who call ADHD a disease/sickness?English
3·7 months agoADHD is a disease. You have to go to a doctor to get diagnosed with it. You have to take medicine to be treated for it. It’s studied by medical schools and described in the DSM. It’s genetic and terminal, so the medicine never heals you, unfortunately. It sucks, I know, but it is definitely a disease. No, you can’t “catch” it, but you can’t “catch” Type 1 diabetes either. That is also genetic and terminal.
No, that symbol means “element of”
∈
Denotes set membership, and is read “is in”, “belongs to”, or “is a member of”. That is, x ∈ S means that x is an element of the set S.

Yes, this reads as either “let n be an element of the natural numbers” or more simply “let n be natural”
Ok, even if there was a guy named Jesus (which, like, there were thousands; that name was super popular at the time), this guy wasn’t god. The meme says the bible is their proof that god exists, not that some guy named Jesus existed.

ADHD@lemmy.world•Is it common to have trouble remembering important details?English
3·7 months agoLike yeah, I mean it sounded like a joke, but it’s really fucking serious. I’ve submitted nearly 1,000 resumes, have had maybe three or four interviews from that, and they’ve all been like kthanxbye.
So, full disclosure, my wife did it for me since I just can’t, and I don’t know what it looks like.
My dog’s groomer now requires you to make an account on their website in order to schedule an appointment. Considering switching groomers.
That makes sense
I see your point, but to be fair, this is a memetic transfer of information.
300 hours? What did you install?
Edit: nm, didn’t see the community name at first

2·7 months agoYeah, Gentoo builds everything from source. Supposed to make it faster, but I didn’t notice enough of a difference to make it worth my while.

2·7 months agoFor me, my first exposure to Linux was around that same time, but with SuSE. It’s still my go-to distro, even though I’ve installed and used dozens of different ones. Compiling Gentoo over a weekend is a fun experience at least once.

I don’t think they were defending him; I think they were saying you don’t need German credentials to be a proper, full-blooded Nazi. Just being American is enough.
