It helps you learn what you WANT to do. Later you can learn HOW to do it in command line if you want to.

You can get by just fine using gui tools for most stuff, only rarely needing raw git commands (when you would probably be checking the docs anyway)

I don’t understand how people check diffs without a GUI/IDE tbh.

The thing is that R&D is their only chance, if they stop, open models will catch up. It will be the cloud owners making all the money at that point.

More fancy than a reversing camera? My 2013 Seat Mii has mirror demisters even though the only screen on it is the one to show the millage!

Turning in the mirror demisters helps keep them somewhat clearer.

The problem is access to market data. You are not going to find reliable (free) APIs for all the shares you want, never mind mutual funds etc.

If anyone knows options for UK/US data that is likely to remain free for year then let me know!

You can just scrape brokers websites of course, but it gets funky when there are splits/reverse splits/mergers.

I thought AI prices were going up, not down? I assume this is Google using it’s deep(er) pockets to lose more money to get more market share… But the price must go up right? Or are consumer chat bots with their smaller contexts profitable?

I bet the engineers know exactly what’s wrong, but it’s not politically/financially beneficial for their managers to say.

It already is if you speed more than 4kph the penalty is way worse I think.

Because there are hot bits you can’t touch for a while afterwards that stick out of it + control nobs.

I do get the appeal of inductions because of that, would still want analog controls for them though.
