Interesting read, I knew about the bigger Disney strike but not the Fleischer one. However, the author has no idea what an inbetweener does and misrepresents the term as a new or junior hire. The pithy wrap up sentence falls flat as a result IMO.

Slow Horses, Pluribus and Severance are all great

It’s only at 11 issues, but The Seasons has been fantastic and is currently ongoing
I wish movie posters still looked like this

“Here’s why” proceeded by not telling us why, but instead promoting the laughing cow media campaign.

I’m only 3/4 of the way on my first read-thru, but already dreading the end. It’s taken several years as well, so not looking forward to that post-partum XD
*editing to add: I’m on Going Postal at the moment

Out of curiosity, have you seen the Project Hail Mary film? I read The Martian long before I saw the movie. Loved both, but I think having many years between helped me not compare them too much.
This time around I’ve seen Hail Mary, and am wondering what the experience might be like to read the book after.

Yet again no context, citation or link to any kind of source
Trying it out now, so far so good!
Yup, way more typos. Used to be able to swipe with very little error, now having to correct several times along the way. I don’t type on my phone often enough to be that annoyed yet, but maybe I should look into other keyboards too …

OP is notorious for just posting images and a headline without any source

Way cool! Thanks for digging that up.

I’m on Android, but if you’re checking under something like “languages” it’s could be under “Tagalog”, not “Filipino”

Do you have a link to some sort of article? Great story but these are basically just random photos without the headline

I laughed out loud in the theater when I heard the Batman voice for the first time.

Wow these are great! Thanks for posting

They just posted an AI slop image of cats in a PC tower masquerading as a personal post of something that really happened. That was enough to convince me to block.

What a great ad! And just $1.50! I wonder how it looked assembled
I guess in 1996 a film from 1970 could be a classic
