The entire “ecosystem” of Russian leadership is built around a strongman. If Putin dies, the next one win based on the criteria that made Putin the leader. So there are two options: a big fucking fight, or someone roughly as bad.

And if it’s option 2, their level of shittyness depends mostly on how effective Putin was in defenestrating his rivals.

I just have a stack of canned stuff I rotate through. I put new ones at the bottom, and make sure the stack in always 4 cans tall. Costs nothing, things are always in stock on the shelves, and in case of emergency, there’s food.

I’m currently with US-based Northern Trust because they don’t have a dividend leak from the Netherlands, and their costs are 0.15% for their all-world ETF, and similar for small-cap and emerging markets.

Switching to Robeco would keep the dividend leak at zero, but their costs are 1.81%. That’s way too much of a difference for me.

HAN etf seems to hover around 0.8%, lower for gold, much higher for crypto, but I can only find weird themed ETFs there, nothing very broad.

If anyone knows a low-cost, European all-world fund, I’d love to hear it.
