It’s an app that helps you split bills with other people. Quite helpful if you have a lift club or shared accommodation.

For example, if Person A, B and C all buy $10, $20 and $30 groceries for the house, it will calculate who owes how much and to whom. Throw in extra bits like Person A borrowing $5 from Person B and it starts getting complex.

It’s not a thing. Violent crime is a problem in South Africa, and some people like to think that they are being specifically targeted, but the statistics do not support that.

Of the 19,000 murders recorded in South Africa between January and September 2024, 50 were farm murders, according to a News24 report. This number included people of all races, added the report.

Yeah, last election was a disaster. We queued for 3.5 hours before voting. Left at 19:00 and the queue was even longer than when we started.
