  • How naive of you, failing to realize that now, as we approach the midterms, is exactly when our attention is needed most.

The time to pick a candidate was in the primary, which is why I was telling people to vote in primaries…

We’re past the primaries now, in case you haven’t noticed.

If you’re going to try and advocate for a third party candidate over a Dem in a specific race go fucking find that candidate first, don’t just shit on Dems and hope something better magically fucking appears

  • “Chicken feed” is enough, but whether you want them for eggs or meat, protein increase yield and quality.

If they’re free range, they’ll find protein on their own.

There’s a shit ton of different breeds, but you have to research on your own to find the right ones for your climate, living conditions, and desired outcomes.

If you’re rural and get old-school chickens, they’re going to keep laying eggs in trees even if you build a coop, especially once they quickly realize you keep stealing eggs from the coop. But also they’re going to be at most half the size of the chickens you buy in a grocery store for $5

Like, if cost is your main factor, $5 is worth your time cooking a whole chicken, let alone killing and slaughtering one.

Like, what’s even you’re goal here?

  • How are you raising them and what breed?

The old breeds you just release around your home, that’s it. A coop helps if you want eggs, but the goal here is to eat chickens not eggs. And it costs zero upkeep. The chickens are too stupid to realize you’re a predator, but capable enough to avoid natural predators. They’ll just hang around your property, because you keep normal predators away most of the time.

That’s how the arrangement with chickens is supposed to work.

If you’re in a city or even a town and can’t let them loose and just want eggs, then you still don’t need vitamins, just raise mealworms and feed them that with chicken feed.

But you’re going to need to make sure you buy the right kinds of chickens for what you want them to do.

  • The military is a large voting block…

Traditionally it goes R, because they expand the military, which means more people get promotions.

But I guarantee everyone in the Navy and Marines know what’s happening, and that trump doesn’t give a fuck.

Air Force is basically an evangelical death cult at this point, and who knows about army since they’re not deployed.

But Republicans will likely lose the military in midterms over this.

It absolutely should be brought up more, every time he lies, he loses military votes. And a lot of military members are still eligible to vote in the small red states they came from. And their friends and family know how they’re treated too.

This isn’t “war” and it’s justifiable, they’re just sitting there

Generations and age have nothing to do with it.

    On and individually level, sure…

But boomers have been the largest voting demographic that whole time, as a demographic they have been voting for this.

    It is that generations fault.

If you think that means “it’s everyone in that generation’s fault” then you just don’t understand what people are saying and responding belligerently.

And are creating the problem you’re complaining about, distracting from the real issues.

  • Jefferies has a leadership position because it was held two weeks before the DNC chair.

If someone like Jamie Harrison (Feb 2021-Feb 2025 chair named by Biden) became chair, then not voting Jefferies/Schumer would have caused the biased DNC to withhold the stolen funds from the Victory Fund…

    That’s why they’re “leadership”.

However the voting members of the DNC got to vote because we didn’t have an incoming dem president. So…

When they picked Martin, and he dumped all that money on state parties with zero strings, Schumer and Jefferies lost all their political power.

Jefferies and Schumer’s only shot at returning neoliberals to the DNC, is if a progressive Dem doesn’t become president in 2029. That’s why they want you to leave the party, even if a Republican wins after Trump because of it.

If a progressive becomes president in 2029, they name the DNC chair, and that’s game over for neoliberalism.

For the love of anything you care about, stop telling people the time to give up is right before we win.

  • All they need to do is “flush” the pit every show.

Like, back in the day, that was just how it worked.

The closest area to the stage was separated, the only way to get in was a guardrailed line from one side, after every artist, the area was completely emptied to the opposite side. Then ideally staff could do a quick 15 minute clean sweep while the stage changes, they can clear out, and the next batch released.

That’s the only way to keep it sanitary

But that’s all extra cost, it’s cheaper to just leave one giant field and let the nonvips act like animals.

They try to make people move between stages by playing drastically different acts in a row, but it just means they don’t even enjoy what they’re waiting thru.

I stopped going to big festivals a while ago, the people running them just don’t know what they’re doing. It’s not like they need to come up with ideas, they just need to go back to what always worked.

  • The democrat party apparatus relies upon operatives all throughout the smaller, local administrative roles–establishment insiders in the pockets of the party aristocracy–to rig the primary elections from the ground on upward against progressive challengers

If it was 2024 you’d be making a lot of sense…

But you’re 18 months behind and saying all that a few months before the midterms…

Kind of makes your ignorance suspicious when you “care” enough to type that much

  • The state’s three investor-owned utilities, Pacific Gas & Electric, Southern California Edison and San Diego Gas and Electric, aren’t in imminent financial danger and last year saw profits rise. But fire costs have contributed to Californians paying the second-highest electricity rates in the country, and lawmakers and Newsom’s office worry that if it becomes harder for utilities to borrow money those bills will continue to climb. The utilities together provide power for about three-quarters of the state.

Newsom and the lawmakers say utilities are held responsible for too much after a wildfire and that bad actors like hedge funds are taking advantage to get a cut. If another devastating wildfire triggers damages too high for a utility to pay, the potentially resulting bankruptcy would make it even harder for victims to collect.

Trickle down and too big to fail…

We’re fucked if it’s Newsome in 2028, because the incoming Dem president picks the DNC chair

And Newsom will take us back to neoliberals

  • This theory posits that it will force full-priced games to trend downwards, and points to the trajectory of Final Fantasy XVI’s costs on Steam to illustrate that when it budges, it budges further down.

Bro really said that because the cost goes down on Steam (due to not being a monopoly) that means that making PlayStation a monopoly (be getting rid of second hand games) would also make the prices go down?

Steam being digital isn’t the relevant part, there’d be nothing wrong with PlayStation being all digital…

If that didn’t make it a monopoly

He’s logic is predicated on publishers being able to sell Steam keys on their own without paying Steam because it didn’t “sell” thru Steam’s storefront.

And I’m pretty sure even a “steam box” doesn’t lock it to Steam store only.

This article isnt for people buying games, it’s rationale for Sony investors to ignore how bad this will be. It’s PR

  • The Democratic Party

    You keep using vague terms…

    The DNC?

The politicians with a D by their name?

    The DSCC?

    The DCCC?

    Voters who vote D?

Who the fuck are you talking about buddy?

what guarantee is there that the broader Democratic Party won’t try the same in an attempt to draw votes away from MAGA?

    What?

If someone gets your signature for a fake petition and sells your information…

You pay more attention to who you give your info too. You don’t say any activism is bad and spend all your time advocating against any form of activism…

That’s what you’re doing, I know you’re not going to understand this, but there’s no other way I can think of that may work.

  • No.

It means to win a national election, we need to get votes from different demographics. And not just cater to the wealthy.

Do you disagree that one of the party’s biggest flaws under neoliberalism was that they catered to the rich and ignored the working class and those in poverty?

Like, “demographics” as in “rural making under 30k”…

    Not “racist”…

That’s not how demographics are talked about politically, I’ve never ever heard anyone use your definition of “demographic”…

    Edit:

But the main point was, he ain’t calling the primary early, every state will get to weigh in.

Every potential dem voter that shows up in the primary, influences who it is in the general…

  • It’s because people don’t do “whites” anymore.

    1. Run a load of white clothing and use bleach and hot water

    2. Put clothes in dryer

    3. Wipe the inside of the washer, takes 10 seconds

You have now cleaned a washing machine…

You can skip #3 and save 10 seconds, the hot bleach water will kill whatever is making that smell. But depending on how bad it is, you may want to do that a couple days in a row. Don’t do a normal load after, let it sit for a while.

The stuff that smells bad is stuff growing where water sits, so you want that bleach water to sit there and not be flushed out. One cycle will probably do it tho if it sits long enough.
