  • I got really into Dragon Age Inquisition when it came out, and my brother gave me a themed shirt for my birthday. Its a badass shirt, so its been in my clothing rotation for many years now.

The other day, this girl came up to me and wanted to talk details of this game. But by this point, the biggest thing i could remember about my time playing it is that I really enjoyed it. Sucks.

  • My husband bought this house from the 1940s that we currently live in about 11 years ago, and it came with a fridge from the 90s. Its not pretty, but it worked then and it still works now, so we just never bought a new fridge.

Never really made sense to us to drop hundreds (thousands?) of dollars on a new fridge just for the aesthetics, so we didn’t. Even tho we’ll get some comments from our moms about it every now and then…

  • Santa Claus/Christmas?

Have to go to the mall and sit on Santa’s lap to tell him what you want for Christmas. If you’ve been a good boy or girl, you’ll get it.

Sugar daddy relationships usually involve exchanging sexual favors for gifts. Quite a few of them also include kinks like bratting and/or praise kinks, i.e. “Good girl.”

The analogy should be pretty obvious.

  • When I was 18/19 in college, I met a guy through my brother’s work that was in his mid 40’s. We hung out with him and his girlfriend a lot and he was pretty good friends with my brother. He even met my mom and family, helped her with some construction projects she needed done (dad died when I was 15, so she didn’t have that extra help), and was invited to her wedding to my step dad.

Now we knew that this guy was an ex-con (the restaurant my brother worked at hired a lot of ex-cons), but we never really judged or pried into what happened. Honestly, this guy was always just chill, giving, funny, helpful, and respectful. I never got creeped out by him, and i never felt like he was inappropriate with me. We found out through a mutual friend later that this guy used to get paid to bleach the bodies of girls/women that had been raped and killed by others. To this mutual friend’s knowledge, our friend hadn’t actually done any raping/killing, but I was really struggling to feel much comfort in the fact that he “only” helped guys get away with it. Especially because I was a young, petite college girl at the time.

Anyways, I dont directly know of anybody ive met that has killed someone, but the fact that I know of somebody that did this horrible thing makes me think that you’re correct.

  • I feel like I’m “not allowed” either.

I grew up in a very religious household/extended family. When I was 19, I became agnostic. But I actually really enjoy the Christmas season and decorations. It doesn’t have a religious tie to me, but it has a nostalgic tie to me.

My husband is VERY jaded/exhausted/raged by Christianity as a whole. Their very existence pisses him off. So naturally, Christmas pisses him off.

But in a fantasy world where we could all get past this bullshit – I’d honestly be happy with either. I grew up with artificial trees, but real trees always seemed better. But killing trees to be a decoration in your home for a month seems wrong…

Final answer- artificial tree would be my choice if I decorated.
