I found it like that and assumed it was the artists intention.

She’s starting to get fed-up with some Apple choices. I offered an alternative. That is now worse than the original. And I was trying to sort it out. But I guess your solution is “just don’t try”.
I was stung like 4 months ago by one while riding a motorbike. In the neck. It left a damn scar. For nearly a month I looked like I had a hickey.
Yeah…I think she tried, and it messed some of the PDFs she was working on :(
Yes. She has been doing this for a very long time. I hope you see changing not only the full OS, but her entire workflow…might be too much of a PITA and she’ll just go back to the old Mac. Which I was trying to avoid.

DeGoogle Yourself@lemmy.ml•Age-verification partner Yoti is reporting GrapheneOS users to authorities for using GrapheneOS, due to "past security concerns."
22·3 days agoI think people aren’t reading too well into this. I think this is a massive failure on Yoti’s side that will just discredit their trustworthiness and reliability. What’s the “authorities” (police I guess?) gonna do when they start receiving a bunch of random citizens reported that have NOTHING to be reported for?
Eventually they’ll have to learn to just ignore Yoti’s reports…or at least take them rather…not seriously, to begin with.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•There are basically 4 types of files : text, image, audio and audio visual, right ?
1·6 days agoThere’s as many files as applications use. But just to make a point following your reasoning, you should include CAD, sliced and blender files at least to cover 3D objects.

5·6 days agoInsta360 really wants to take the higher end of gopro. As in, beating them at quality. There’s a bazillion lower end models with varying quality, some rather decent.
I have the insta360 acepro 2, and recording quality is really good, i think better than gopro. But it’s a brick of a camera to hold, rather heavier. I didn’t have issues with batteries myself, i have an original one and 2 off market ones, so far all working Ok.

The answer is no, because you’d need windows to allow your Linux installer to take over top runtime privilege and modify live partitions while mounted and in use. While i guess it’s technically possible, it’s so much of a hassle i wouldn’t even want to start considering it.
