Edit: Honestly, I can’t remember if that’s the weird ass math he used or common sense winning out.
Jumping off a 50 story building and impacting like a bomb sure conveyed a sense of weight that a lot of games lack.

2·8 days agoThis is where I’m at too. Media Watch really has some journalistic integrity, even having called itself out in the past. Which means it must really piss off certain groups trying to push false narratives.
We have a customer at work where the start of every one of his phone calls is both a jump scare and hearing risk. Real nice guy but we just got headphones with noise compression and I’m so thankful!

3·11 days agoI came here to say the same! Good to see DoW isn’t dead and it sounds like the DoW4 devs actually understand the assignment (from what I’ve seen in interviews etc).
I’ve been a fan of TW: Warhammer for a while but the setting just doesn’t excite me as much as 40k. I’m hoping they bring the same gameplay with a spritzing of grimdark.
Proceed to talk for 3 hours about the train unloading and smelter setups I made in Factorio.
And contrary to sentiment elsewhere in this thread, some are really informative. If someone’s feed is filled with brainrot I feel bad for ya son, I got 99 video suggestions and brainrot’s getting blocked (I know it doesn’t rhyme, we can workshop it.)
The one that would most fit the bill for Lemmings is Chris Boden aka Physicsduck but there are heaps of informative creators making short content that doesn’t waffle on just to pad the runtime.
That being said; obviously if the goal is to watch a 1 hour deep dive into a subject and the reaction is “shorts can’t do that”…. Well, yeah, they’re like the fun facts you could get on Minty’s wrappers not documentaries.

41·14 days agoIt was the first movie I’ve seen in cinema for a long while and I was pretty damn happy with it. I went with a friend who is picky about movies and even he only had a couple of gripes.
Judging by the comments here I’m assuming that, a lot like Solo, people want it to be bad. Glad I ignored that ‘it must fail’ attitude when Solo came out as well, it was actually pretty decent.
