I have noticed that when my internet is out for whatever reason I get bored really quickly and start actually doing stuff. The brain rot and screen addiction are real, but I don’t think I’m ready for something as drastic as intentionally not paying for my ISP bill lol
For me it feels like reading at home under a blanket is the worst way to do it because it makes me too comfortable and sometimes sleepy. Doing it somewhere in public, like a cafe or library makes me focus much better, while at home I get distracted by everything.

The only character in the game that represents them does not talk about her gross pedo clients.

If anyone is into visual novels and is looking for something to play on Christmas, try VA-11 Hall-A. It’s a cozy game about being a bartender in a cyberpunk city during Christmas, and it has some actual gameplay too, you have to listen to what your customers want and make the drinks in a simple mini-game.
A friend of mine plays this game every winter too. I myself don’t really care about The Division, but he claims the atmosphere of winter in this game is immaculate
I like replaying my favorite immersive sims: Prey, Dishonored and Deus Ex. Replaying these games annually is pretty awesome because of how detailed the environments are and the amount of secrets to find. There’s always stuff to find that you’ve missed in previous runs.
I used to watch an embarrassing amount of anime when I was still in highschool, and the ONLY anime where the protag has a little sister and there’s no incest plot is OreGairu. This anime also has the only sibling relationship depiction that I was able to relate to (despite being the only child in my family, weirdly enough)

The only JRPGs I remember playing is one sonic flash fan game on some old website and that one Ubisoft offshoot game “Child of Light” back when they weren’t just milking Assassin’s Creed IP, so I’m somewhat familiar with the gameplay. I’ll follow your advice and start with 5 and get into older ones if I like 5. The thing that made me want to try out the games is seeing screenshots of 5 and thinking “this UI and overall art style looks cool as fuck” and then hearing good music in YouTube videos/memes and finding out that it’s from Persona

Tbf getting banned for slurs is not a universal thing. I get called all sorts of slurs when I play cs2 and I’m yet to see any evidence these people get punished for it.
