Here is a positive rephrasing of your comment :
I’m glad you found it out! And since most of the fruit grows like that, you really learned something useful.

Fediverse@lemmy.world•Persistance of posts and account data post-deletionEnglish
10·1 day agoIn my experience (non technical, my delelting post experience) when you create a post it propagates immediatly to any instance that is properly federate to your instance. This usually means same software and people from there following content from your instance. Then, with a lot of conditions to be fullfield, it propaged to partially federated instances. For example instance of another software that makes full federation more difficult, or instance that does a search on your specific post…
When you delete your post, it deletes automatically to any properly federated instance but that could be with a delay (a few minutes, or an hour) but the delete order has issues reaching all the other instances (the ones that were federeate when you create the post but not anymore, the ones from another fediware, …)
You also have no guaranty that someone doesn’t have your post in a backup they may use to restore a fallen instance, or leak through another way. As with every content on the internet, better consider anything once posted as know publically forever.
Is this an issue for bats when they stay inverted too long? I naively thought they were not concern by this kind of thing, since upside down is a natural pose for them.
Ohhh le pauvre amour…

That is not a goose but fox. Silly you!
J’avoue tout : Je n’ai jamais visiter la ville de Marseille. J’en ai souvent entendu parlé à la télé dans des films et même parfois au JT mais de là à croire que le lieu des aventures de Plus Belle la vie existe…
Not every one is like that! Some of us start on the very day they get the assignment, work on it for a good hour, then without a fail every week stress about it for a whole afternoon until finishing the paper on the due day.
