It’s strange that Kohl’s is dying. Every time I go in there it’s full of customers with long lines at the checkout.

Biden had a majority on the board.
If you want to know how popular it is in a particular area, just watch the heat map of measles infections in the United States over the next year.
Keep in mind that states are not homogeneous, so there will be hot spots. For example the outbreak started in a religious sect in West Texas.
This reminds me of the recent Dune remake. It will probably be successful, but I’m content with my memories of the previous productions.
I rewatch the old TNG era Star Trek shows from time to time. They’re like soap operas in some ways. And I really enjoy the art direction.
Tom Baker era Doctor Who is also a comforting rewatch.
And every few years I do a rewatch of the original Dark Shadows (but I usually skip the pre-Barnabas episodes).
Apple recycles AirPods. There’s no trade in value, but you can bring them to any Apple Store, or fill out the form for a mail in label.
Look into products like “lock laces”. I can tie my shoes but I hate doing it (I’d rather slip my shoes on and they never stay tied or tight anyway). Elastic laces with a cinch works great.
They’re also increasing prices for existing subscribers.

Performative nonsense.
Check with your carrier. Some carriers offer free spam blocking services. For example, T-Mobile has an unpaid tier of their “scam shield” service that you can turn on and configure through their app.
What is that strange shirt he’s got on? Does it actually say something in Greek?
I got off it and went back to Safari.
Be sure to check their website when you need a new major appliance. Installation and haul away is included in the price, and they add an extra year to the warranty.
Everything today is a grift. For example, many states have proposed sending pre-filled tax forms out lining what you owe or are owed based on known data (such as mortgage reporting and 1099s, W2s, etc.). You just sign if you agree and pay or get your refund. H&R Block and Intuit (TurboTax) do not want that to happen. They want it as complicated as possible so they can charge you for assistance.
Insurance — also a bunch of bullshit. Clinics are allowed to charge different rates to different people and the insurance is expected to negotiate it down. For example an MRI scan costs $500 out of pocket (cash paid by patient) but if you use insurance, suddenly the clinic says the cost is $1000. Meanwhile single payer systems have been shown to reduce costs and improve care. But those middle men want their money! See also the screwed up world of pharmacy benefits.
High speed rail — next to impossible in the US because airlines and car manufacturers and the trucking industry don’t want the competition.
Etc. Etc. Etc.
Bing is still a thing. Bing offered Apple a boatload of money to be the default search engine in Safari. I’m sure Mozilla could make a deal with Microsoft.
I also wonder if they could just prompt the user to select a search engine from a randomized list, and then get paid from whichever service the user picks?
Some browsers sell placement spaces on the default start page to make money as well. It would be another revenue stream for Mozilla and it’s easily updatable by the user directory don’t want any of these default sites.
Aww. Gruber is mad he was left out of the loop and isn’t such an Apple insider after all.
Nothing special is required if you’re just looking for somewhere to charge. Most third party charging apps will ask you in settings to either select your car model and/or preferred charging plugs.
Now if this CarPlay is some trip planning feature where it automatically fills in stops based on your current range and destination, I can see that requiring some sort of special communication with the car.
As a workaround, I’ve been telling maps to search for “DC fast” when I’m looking for a charger. It’s kludgy, but it seems to work.
Are any polls legit these days? Seems like poll by cold call, text, or email/website would be skewed and a waste of everyone’s time.
Friday the 13th — the original, not the sequels, remakes, or tv series by the same name. Saw it on cable at a friends house and thought it was awesome.
Before that, I tried to sneak watch the Salem’s Lot mini series when I wasn’t supposed to. I got too scared and turned it off! I was eight years old after all. When I got older, I watched the whole thing. I still think it’s an amazing adaptation.
