Ah… I totally forgot that this had already been posted in this community:
Out of the loop here. What are the recent scandals with Discord?
This is probably not what you’re looking for, but it reminded me of the fan-made Polybius scenario for Kult.
But even if its not what you need, it might be useful as inspiration:
Oh, and if you’re not familiar with the urban legend, give it a search on YouTube.
The full rulebook has been release, in case someone is interested:

0·2 months agoI’m seeing a lot of broken image fallback icons; mostly for community icons and banners, as well as thumbnails for images posted before the migration. Am I the only one experiencing this?
FYI: this post might not make it due to the host migration:

Of course, you can always repost.

Thanks for sharing.
It’s short, but it’s a start:
Speaking of old media… I was hesitant to recommend Carmilla, since I wasn’t sure you’d be looking for books (the most remarkable merit being that it was written before Dracula and even the invention of cinema), but TIL there is indeed a movie:

1922’s Nosferatu?
Oh. I hadn’t noticed!! 😅

2·4 months agoYeah, me too. ;) I think there’s at least something worth learning.
I’ll usually avoid creating a new post with very basic tests such as this one…

… so for my latest tests, I still try to finish something.

Turns out I started these forest tests because I was trying this type of mountain ridge style and I’m trying to find a tree style that goes along nicely.

2·4 months agoCampaign Cartographer 3+ is indeed only available for Windows. Though I must say that I have it working under WINE just fine. YMMV, ofc.
Glad I could help.
One more thing: The official forum is a place full of very nice and helpful people.
I do use it myself for SciFi (mostly for Traveller) and I like it. Of course, the number of available styles is not as overwhelming as the ones available for fantasy, but there are some good options.
One thing worth noting: for Sci-Fi you definitely want the highest tier, which includes Cosmographer and all the annuals.
The page for Cosmographer shows a few styles: https://www.profantasy.com/products/cos3_examples.asp
And here’s a few deckplan exampless on a classic Traveller style: https://www.profantasy.com/products/cos3_deckplans.asp
As for the annuals, there’s this post on the forum with a small screenshot/thumbnail for each issue in most annuals: https://forum.profantasy.com/discussion/10366/cartographers-annual-all-the-issues-linked-in-one-place
Finally, there’s this Youtube Playlist with a few of the mapping sessions that focused on Sci-Fi styles: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLrFvDl9qgYgsCVt58a41H3rcDjsAc4P4h

Yeah. I noticed after the fact. Oh, well.
