Usually the decks battery is fine for a mid distance flight, but some of the longer ones I find myself being tethered to seat power, which usually is a loose outlet that the plug regularly falls out of. Having a second charge would … well, take me twice the distance
That was 100% it’s downfall. I don’t know what executive said “But it Haaaass to run on them” - I guarantee every engineer there knew it would be a disaster on the older gen. I know they said at the beginning that it would, but they should have just sucked it up and said “Look, folks, we’re sorry, it just can’t run and you won’t have a good time, so it’s next gen only. We’ll see you in Night City when you can”
It’s about making more steam users. Windows is great, they can use steam. They’re going after people who can’t afford a pc. If people get a deck or steamos who already do own one, that’s just gravy
Got it, I thought it was some hashing thing that would call out if something had happened, which I guess it does, I was wondering if there was something in code that would be forcibly changed so that trust would be broken
For us who are bad at writing though that’s exactly why we use it. I’m bad with greetings, structure, things that people expect and I’ve had people get offended at my emails because they come off as rude. I don’t notice those things. For that llms have been a godsend. Yes, I of course have to validate it, but it conveys the message I’m trying to usually
I use it for parsing through legalese or terms and conditions. IT IS NOT PERFECT. I wouldn’t trust it ever over a lawyer. But it’s great for things like “Is there anything here that is extra unusual or weirdly anti-consumer or very bad for privacy?”. I think it’s great for that.
People here are just “it will take jobs it’s inherently evil”. They said the same about Photoshop, and computers before. I think there are evil uses for it sure, but that doesn’t mean that it has no valid usages
The “I’m a carnivore” people are always who you expect. People who try really hard to appear badass while at the same time are triggered by vegetarians and vegans

Exactly. Even Meta and their thousands of lawyers would immediately say this. How does it harm people? Prove it does. Why are they singled out? They’re just showing content they think is relevant, and I’m guessing they honestly are. It’s that political groups take advantage of that, and make slop that enrages and inflames. But Meta would just say “you can’t punish us for trying to make our platform successful”. A mess all around

Exactly. Comedies don’t need to involve will Farrell and have low ball humor. It can be subtle. The book was very funny, it’s how he stayed alive, making light of his situation. I don’t know why people would argue against that. In fact I’d say it does a great job at being an action, drama, and comedy
Cara Nicole. She does a good job at explaining finance and budgeting to the layman, I liked her because I found that what she said more or less aligned with what I’ve found to be true, so I think she’s sending out smart ways of managing money to people. Plus she does fun videos about things like giving financial audits to Michael Scott and breaking down people’s wish lists. Idk I always enjoy her videos.

Email is kind of hard. There’s usually only one API key to the email client, and there’s no real safe way to call it. Personally over the years my approach is to have an internal library that reads what environment it is in, and then if it doesn’t explicitly tell that it’s in prod, it reroutes everything to safe email addresses.
