This is the same as asking what happens if I stop commuting to work in my car and running to work instead. You are using your legs, heart, and lungs etc everyday your body gets stronger and fitter over time.
If you stop outsourcing cognitive effort (thinking) to llms your brain will get stronger.
There are also other harms from llms like sycophancy that kill your social skills and cause psychosis. So your brain can recover all that if you avoid llm usage.

yea it happens a lot. They say it’s because our immune system is not used to the different strains of bacteria in other counties. And that we should avoid raw food and tap water when travelling far away.

Your brain will start recovering from slopheadedness and begins growing back to normal functioning.

The wonder and mystery behind my existence. And all the kind people I keep meeting through life.

Ah okay. That’s a lot. Maybe reduce weights and slowly build up from 40% of 1 rep max?
Going heavy on big lifts is very exhausting on the nervous system—especially if you are starting out. It will affect other activities.

Makes sense you need a strong gut. Thanks for such a comprehensive reply!
I remember reading news about some tourists getting sick after drinking fermented milk in Mongolia.

Salt is a essential mineral
I never understood salt. Humans supplement it but no other wild animal does. Sodium is essential but it’s also present in plants and meats.
it could be mineral water if you prefer
Mineral water contains too little sodium. For example alpine springs have 0.2 to 1 mg/L. The amount of sodium we eat is thousands of times more.
What about the cooked meat vs raw or fermenting meat? Why do you prefer the former?

Red meat, salt, and water
Our strong stomach acid matches scavengers because we probably ate rotting meat too. Didn’t we? And there are reports of some people surviving on raw or fermenting meat.
Why do you eat meat cooked with salt instead?
I feel we’d have to be lucky to die this way tbh. Compared to most other ways to die which are horribly painful and slow this is so much better.
It’s unexpected too so it spares you from a lot of negative emotions associated with knowing that your end is near.

Egotism, ignorance, and obsessive personality. Then your life is completely consumed in an uphill battle of proving yourself right.

I didn’t read the 2nd paper yet. I’m not able to open it. it’s triggering recaptcha continuously. I’m trying to find an alternate link.
This is a whataboutism
I am not trying to attack your position in any way. I am just saying how it’s possible to protect ourself from B12 deficiency regardless of what you eat.
The theory is about brain volume not intelligence
I agree. I went to cognitive function and intelligence because it matters more to me than size of the brain or it’s volume. Some people just assume that bigger brain = better. My understanding is it’s usually not the case.
(But yes I admit I went on a tangent here)
are you a mic the vegan fan
not really it showed up when I searched the original paper and the book.
it’s demonstrated 50-80% of practicing vegans have deficient b12
👍harsh reality

Doesn’t it depends on the place?
If farm animals are fed B12 supplements and plant foods fortified with B12 then it’s less likely that you will be deficient.
Some studies found eating more vegetables protects from brain volume from decline.
There are many intellectual workers and smart people who are vegetarians like Indian chess grandmasters. I am not sure avoiding meat makes you stupid…

I see. Can you share more about your program? Like how do you split your workouts? How many days a week do you train, the number of sets etc.

Add cardio especially some endurance and hiit. In my experience, it is a game changer. It increases your exercise capacity and recovery between sets quite a lot.

All that matters is that you get the necessary nutrients
and none of the toxins🤞

there wasn’t sufficient selection pressure to remove those vestigial traits
I guess it’s vestigial for carnivores. In plant eating populations the gene has more copies. Like European-americans and japanese have 6 copies of AMY1 gene. Some primitive hunter gather societies have only 2.
You can find a stone and lift it.
We can argue it’s way better than deadlift for overall strength and costs nothing.

We have some adaptations to eat plants too don’t you think?
Like salivary amylase to start digesting carbs in the mouth, teeth similarities to herbivores and frugivores (like monkeys), and livers and kidneys that process plant compounds like chocolate, coffee, and grapes etc. But these are very toxic to carnivores for example cats.
To sleep a little more after an alarm wakes me up. Every time.
