Also rhe original Jabba the Hut was a himan in a furry jacket, not a giant slug monster. Since Han walks around human Jabba in the scene on flat ground they added the stepping over slug Jabba’s tail with CGI which is why the way Han walks in the clip looks janky as hell.
Pretty sure it is a people are different trait, although it is pretty easy to get distracted by the small details.
I used to do the small detailed work which was great, and had managers that asked for estimates and ignored them and others than listened and used them, but of course estimates are estimates. Now I do project management and do my best to use the longest possible estimate, sometimes offering to add extra, because it is necessary to know when things are most likely to be done so something else that is dependent on it being done is ready. Barely anything actually meets exact deadlines of course, but planning ahead helps with keeping things from being so overwhelmed that they can’t be done.
But I can’t do both the details and the big picture at the same time. One or the other on a particular day for personal stuff and one or the other for longer periods of time at work.
Same thing with “5 year plans”. I literally cannot do it because 1. All my plans involve “have money to do thing” and 2. You could easily get cancer and die in 5 years (or other big changes).
For me, any kind of long term planning is likely to be interrupted by the unexpected but if I don’t have something to work towards then I will just be stuck in a daily loop of ‘doing something tomorrow’ and then never doing anything because everything will get done ‘tomorrow’. I have just accepted that ADHD is going to reduce my productivity for necessary things and hobbies by few hours out of every day compared to the average person and work around that.

The whole point of congress is to have individual opinions.
Johnson isn’t their boss, they should feel free to speak openly about whatever they want.

A lot of movies do the ‘corrupted digital stream’ with boxy digital artifacts. They use it even for things that don’t have a digital stream, like cameras, which is silly but it works as a shorthand.
It is funny when they do use static for digital media though.

Agreed, and legal systems that deny anyone the right to vote are not democracies.
Prisoners are members of society and therefore have the right to vote in any democracy. Even treason and mass murder do not justify removing their right to vote. The only scenario where prisoners voting would have a disproportionate impact are are prisons in low population remote locations, which could easily be worked around by their residency being based on their location before incarceration.
Agree with everything here, plus I miss cars coming in a wide variety of colors instead of just inoffensive earthy and silver tones.

That sounds like a bunch of crimes being committed by ICE.

Banned is the wrong word.
Steam chose not to distribute it because it they understood an early build to include children in sexual situations. Further builds did not dissuade them from the original decision.
Epic, who originally was going to distribute based on the developer filling out some form chose not to after filling it out themselves and finding it had a higher rating (adult only) at the last minute.
The developer speculated it was about a specific scene, but based on both steam and epic there are fundamental concerns about the content that led to no distributing on their platforms, which is not banning, that do not align with the story the developers are presenting. It is not likely to be about one scene that was in an earlier build that was the issue for them.
The important thing is that the game is not BANNED in any way whatsoever. It is available on fewer distribution platforms, which reduces visibility, but is not banning any more than exclusive deals or limited releases are banning on other platforms.
Personally I get the impression that the developers see the content very differently than steam and epic because the developers focus on intent and steam and epic focus on what actually exists in the game.
Agreed that the opening was fantastic, and I thought the owner and flashback bits were great as well. I really only disliked the parts with the super strength ‘monster’. The tonal shift from high tension to cartoonish violence undermined the strong introduction.
Weapons was far better as the tonal shift worked better and the over the top ending seemed more ‘real’ in the setting.
“I totally unplugged it and plugged it back in on both ends, pinkie promise.”
Narrator: They did not do that because it would require getting out of their chair.
Too bad there isn’t some kind of middle ground between tiny rooms and completely open concepts.

Yeah, being overly polite and accommodating is default bot behavior.
“I’m not a fucking bot asshole” is something that a bot would be very unlikely to say and a lot more concise.
Like it is trying to determine what I ‘really meant to type’ based on predictive text.

Republicans are not shrugging, they are actively cheering it on.

I have no idea which ones you watched.
Shang-Chi was good. Deadpool was fun.
Eternals, Black Widow, Multiverse of Madness, Love and Thunder, and the Spiderman movies were mediocre.
Quantumania was awful.
I plan on watching Guardians 3 at some point, but the previews and reviews for the rest look like a mix of mediocre to bad.

I haven’t read any of them, just the reference stuff in rulebooks and wikis.
