The only real downside on the open source side is that the fix is also public, and thus the recipe how to exploit the backdoor.

If there’s a massive CVE on a closed source system, you get a super high-level description of the issue and that’s it.

If there’s one on an open source system, you get ready-made “proof of concepts” on github that any script kiddy can exploit.

And since not every software can be updated instantly, you are left with millions of vulnerable servers/PCs and a lot of happy script kiddies.

Welches Land? Bei uns hier in Österreich ist es so, wenn ein Kind regulär eingeschult wird, und die erste Klasse aus irgendeinem Grund nicht packt (sozial, kognitiv oder sonst was), dann geht es den Rest des ersten Jahres in die Vorschule, und danach in die Erste.

Wenn das Kind vorzeitig eingeschult wird, und es die Erste nicht packt, dann kann es nicht in die Vorschule, sondern man muss sich dann von jetzt auf heute einen Kindergartenplatz suchen (ist ja im verpflichtendem Kindergartenjahr).

Weiß nicht, wie das wo anders ist, aber solche Details sollte man im Vorhinein abklären.

Wir waren in einer ähnlichen Situation und haben uns entschieden, den Sohnemann nicht früher einzuschulen, obwohl er kognitiv mehr als bereit dazu war. Der Grund ist eben das Soziale. Schule ist hart, von der Klassengemeinschaft und auch von den Anforderungen des Schulalltags her (still sitzen, nicht reinquatschen, …). Da kann es durchaus helfen, wenn das Kind etwas älter ist.

Wie du sagst, fachlich viel lernen wird das Kind im ersten Jahr eh nicht, und langweilig ist die Schule für Kinder die schnell lernen so oder so. Die eigentliche Frage ist, ob es für das Kind sozial und auch vom Sitzfleisch her besser ist, das jüngste Kind der Klasse zu sein, oder eher das Älteste zu sein.
