I love a happy ending
I love a happy ending
But make sure to bill for the full 12 hours.
And somewhere out there is a tree providing oxygen for her that she should apologize to. But that ain’t gonna happen either.
Hey, why stop there? There’s all those sidewalks out there that are taking space that could be perfectly good vehicle lanes or parking spaces,
I’m here but I’m also still on Fark after 25 years.
I just saw FF tonight and I thought it was great. But I suspected interest must be off- I was in a cinema with only 12 other people.
I’m sure this is the first of a long list of necessary public sector cuts that we’re going to see. Not necessary because the program or the cause aren’t justifiable. Necessary because a) we have a budget problem that existed well before the current tariff and soveriegnty crisis, and b) this government is about to commit to a whole bunch of new spending on infrastructure and national defence. We can’t have it all and still reasonably pay for it. Hell, we may still not be able to pay for it.
But that said, consider priorities: Is women and gender equality better served by this program, or by having a safe, secure, and prosperous nation? Look south to consider the alternative.
I’d love to see WAGE stick around. Hell, I’d like to see it expanded. In the meantime, Canadians, especially the menfolk, can commit to equality each and every day to rightfully improve the conditions of women.
I can rewatch Corner Gas endlessly. It’s so well written.
Those parents should be sued.
But other than that, this looks to be a problem that will eventually solve itself.
I think that’s because its state changes seasonally.
I’m sure it’d be sold as “toughening people up like in the good old days before woke pussies”.
Stoopid Texans. You’ve got the guns, start using the things. If they need cooling, maybe aerate a few blocks of servers for them.
Presumably they also pay some taxes, although it sounds like may of these places set up in unincorporated areas to avoid such things.
The water may be treated with anticorrosives.
What’s to be aggrieved about? I’ve never once heard the auto industry being a factor in western alienation. And I’ve written papers on the subject.
The auto industry is Canada’s largest manufacturing industry, contributing more than $15B to GDP and 500,000 good paying jobs. There’s good reason to protect it.
It’s not entirely physiological. It is also very much a psychological phenomenon as well. For example, seeing someone else yawn is more likely to make you yawn. Hell, talking about yawning is more likely to make you yawn. In fact, if you’ve spent any time in this thread, you’ve likely yawned already.
The company needs to buy out any landowner within earshot for 3x the value that their house was worth before the mine moved in.
I agree. But to manage the payment cycle, fraud, and chargeback processes, they’d need to partner with the big banks who already partner with the legacy CC companies. I would expect that those companies would push back hard.
Simple. Part of the merchant agreement with someone like MC or Visa is that you’ll pay them 3%, but not tack it on as a visible fee for the purchaser, or offer discounts for non CC transactions. So a merchant could do so, but they run the risk of the CC company terminating their agreement and perhaps suing them.
While temperate rainforests are indeed special, they’re not quite as uncommon as you state. There are 12 major temperate rainforest areas worldwide. And the one you mention, the Hoh, is part of a bigger rainforest system that stretches from Northern California all the way to Alaska. If you’ve ever been to Vancouver island, BCs Sunshine Coast, or Haida G’waii you’d be well aware of the expanse that the temperate rainforest encompasses . That said, we are both in agreement that it is both majestic and incredibly important ecosystem.
