Yeah, those definitions look fine.

I think I might have been thinking of fabricate. Both ‘synthesize’ and ‘fabricate’ have some form of ‘combine from parts’ as a definition, but fabricate also has ‘to fake or forge’ as an alternate definition, which synthesize does not. We should be good!
