I originally had seven bots downvoting me constantly. Thankfully, the good admins of this instance have blocked them, but yeah, bots and organised brigades are quite common, as well as doxx attempts.
I’ve had a few tankies trying to dox me in their private circles, going in quite a lot of detail about how to do so, but they came up with the wrong identity both times.
We had a thread recently that was downvoted over 25 times by the same user creating multiple alts. Fortunately they were detected and all their accounts were banned and they have since left Lemmy – Turns out they have been using these bots for almost two years to make all their comments viral.
Now, I am not saying this is wrong or anything but earlier today I saw a post for Lemvotes, checked it out and it was showing that I have down voted every single post and comment I’ve ever viewed. I rarely vote in either direction, so I don’t think it’s currently working right.
meta: I hate how threadiverse.link works. the “just take me there” button does not work without scripts and cookies. it would be useful, but e.g. for me it’s just in the way

Same. It also appears to list downvotes first, so any long list that gets truncated might look like a downvote machine.
Ctrl-End and it’ll take you to the bottom where your upvotes are. No clue why it sorts that way.
I’m Lemvotes’s dev, would you prefer to have it sort purely by the time of publication?
That would seem more like people would expect.
