No way. Eusocial insects are the ultimate self-organized emergent organization. Every bee or ant is just doing its thing, and the intelligent functioning of the whole emerges out of their interactions and how those interactions subtly shape individual behavior.
yeah the naming of the main reproducing bee as the “queen” is literally us imposing our own bullshit onto a species that has no idea what that is.
