    People who put inappropriate things in the recycling piss me off. An esky and a full stove top this time ffs!

      I only put the dunny seat in there because it was clean and it said “recyclable” on there. I was trying to do the right thing, ok. 🙂

      I just found out recently that we can only put specific clear plastic items in there, and not the other plastic colours (with the same #). Been messing up the recycling for ages without realising 😒

        It also varies depending on which company is doing the pickup, so something that is fine in one council area might not be in another. My old council had a fairly wide range of things that could go in the recycling, Ballarat you can’t even recycle glass at the moment, and the range of plastics is much smaller.
