For your information, stone is an English and British unit of measurement, used in the UK and Ireland for bodyweight. Continental Europe doesn’t use it, even colloquially, because we like our measurement systems to make sense. But I can see how an American would generalise Europe based on the stereotypes they have for Britain, as it happens pretty frequently.
