I know doomerism is cringe and all, but it’s either die as collateral or wait for the military to forcefully draft everyone, and since I don’t have a proper escape plan unlike all the rich folks fleeing the country, it’s just been blob-no-thoughts

      (cw: doomerism)

doomerism is not as cringe as thinking anything in the imperial core will get better

are rich folks fleeing the country, or just talking about it?

there aren’t any accounts I can find of any specific rich person fleeing the country- most I’ve read up on have focused on impoverished and working class people who are still struggling even after they’ve fled

but even if rich folks haven’t fled yet(which I find highly unlikely), they’re the only demographic who can easily afford to bribe the military and save themselves from mandatory drafting. It’s pretty infuriating to think about honestly

I’m not the most knowledgeable on the topic sry

All i know is that it was pretty bad and it soured the general populace’s perceptions on socialism and communism
