He heroically gave up half his necky so that she, tragically born with only a partial necky, could finally live her best life. She was re-named in honor of this great sacrifice.

that was the entire point of why she did it
she didn’t “not understand the assignment”, it was a calculated move to harm a trans woman and get a head-start on the far-right grift machine
it’s why she broke the story on tpusa immediately

      Everything old is new again.

In a coincidence - I recently watched the first episode of the fantasy tv series Salem.

      Salem (TV Series 2014–2017)

Supernatural horror loosely based on Salem’s 17th century witch trials.

If “loosely” were even remotely true - sexy witches and fantasy tv black magic would be real. One scene of the first episode - there was a rated-PG-ish orgy in the woods. The writhing mass of creatures were covered in black muck. I don’t know what they were. Witches? Demons? Not that it mattered. I loved the episode because it was horrible. But I doubt the series will maintain the high-level of “so bad it’s good” ridiculousness. I’ll probably bail in about a couple episodes when the quality sadly goes up to being awful - or even worse - just bad.

          Hmm…

It seems the smart thing is for me to do is to watch season 1 and then stop. Unfortunately - I usually don’t do the smart thing. I predict that when I’m not looking - I’ll sneak over and start watching season 2 before I realize what’s happening. Then a voice in my head will say “Keep going!”

I think I made it through the first season then gave up a few episodes into season 2. I remember getting bored with it because nothing was happening. They’d introduce conflicts, have characters talking to one another about said conflict, then move on without resolving or developing anything.

Seemed like they had a dozen writers and directors all trying to shoehorn their own side plots (IDK for certain cuz I didn’t check the credits).

I had already decided to skip season 3 because the Imdb reviews I glanced at made it seem very bad.

Seemed like they had a dozen writers and directors all trying to shoehorn their own side plots

That sounds very unappealing. Season 2 does not seem promising.

      espouse your terrible beliefs

One thing that always makes me laugh is for most American Christians being a self-proclaimed Christian is just them saying its their lifestyle brand. After a simple intro: “As a Christian…” - they can spew their hatred, racism, etc. It doesn’t work at all if they say something like “As a huge fan of Chick-fil-A… I don’t think trans people should have rights.”

It makes complete sense why TPUSA would back a person who wrote an bad anti-woke essay. Charlie Kirk originally got famous by writing bad essays to complain that schools were too liberal. His essays were published in Breitbart since the age of 17.

Didn’t he apply to a bunch of competitive schools (Harvard, West Point, Stanford, etc.) with a shitty transcript, not get in to any of them, then blamed non-whites for “taking his spot” due to affirmative action? AFAIK he didn’t even go to college he just pissed and moaned about them.
