I just don’t like it. If we’re going to mandate a specific font on government products, make it an accessible one, not just an aesthetic one. Like, one that’s designed for heightened legibility. Further, don’t make it a platform-dependent font. They didn’t pick Helvetica, for instance.

I tend to use my microwave for anti-cat countermeasures, but I’ve got it full of sweet potato bread at the moment. Sucks when you have to use it, though.

Frijoles refritos are technically fried, too. You take cooked beans, mix them in a skillet over medium heat with oil and whatever ingredients you want, and then stir them all together with a masher until it’s the consistency you want. I like to use empazote, cilantro, cumin, a whole onion diced, a bunch of garlic cloves minced, and a diced jalapeño.
