Dude was nice as hell, and listened to my high-school band’s demo and got back to me about it on MySpace. Seemed like one of the most legit people out there and holy hell could he play. I think he also understood the folk part better than most folk punk…and was also more punk
I think we met the first time when he was opening for Amebix and was on cloud 9 about opening for Amebix as anyone would be prior to the whole Rob being a holocaust denier thing
Yeah, Erik was the fucking best. Im gonna bow out of this conversation because talking too much about him makes me sad as fuck and I dont feel like doing that to myself right now, but if you ever wanna DM about Mischief Brew, im game! He informed so much of my life, I would not be the person I am (for better or worse) without him.
