Going to see a little pair of ginger boys today at a foster. It feels so gauche. But Cerys really isn’t doing well on her own, she’s never been a lone cat

A pair of gingers is a good idea. They can annoy and entertain each other, and Cerys can join in if she feels but she won’t be their primary source of entertainment.

And remember that your heart isn’t pie, divided up into slices of love. With each new creature we meet and love, it grows to fit them in and Misha’s place in there is forever.

We knew we had three criteria:

        1. boys as they really don’t get hierachical like females and just roll over and accept being the bitch

        2. younger, for similar ease of introduction / hierarchy reasons

        3. two to annoy each other at their energy levels instead of Cerys. So we started looking at bonded pairs.

We would have loved to adopt an older pair, but they’re all set in their ways and we’d basically just be upsetting three elderly cats for human morality.

It’s so sad loosing a pet. It’s not gauche. Everyone heals in different ways and if having some new kitties around will be good for you and the household, then that’s awesome. Hope the are a good match!
