This is china where one mistep can lead you to accidently landing in a forbidden area. Specificly these are around the boarders. If they fuck up though and misinterpaate one of these sites, were never going to see the two of them again. Most likely they will get tried as spies and spend the rest of their lives in a chinese jail.

They just passed my cousin’s city in Hubei. She’s actually working on an adjacent field (advertising for hot spring resorts and shit).

The biggest threat to them right now is dying of hypothermia. They are not prepared for the north. I went to Henan in Feb 2 years ago and the snow hadn’t fully thawed in certain places. It might not be below 0 in late March but if they thought Hunan was cold…

lol this is such a lie I have crossed the southern border in an unconventional manner that meant I was going south with a boat full of thai seasonal workers heading home for chinese new year.

I assure you not only did the workers not have visas to be stamped but the police who came and stamped my passport did not even look twice at them. The cops in China were quite nice. Just don’t take photos outside government buildings ya dinguses. Way more fashy police south of the border.

(acab of course, I’m sure my experience was coloured by my skin tone and status as a foreign visitor / opportunity to practice english)

America really needs to show China how to handle when someone accidentally misinterpaates a boarder. It’s important to put people in concentration camps humanely.

haha yeah, they really don’t view the Chinese as people. Don’t even ask about DPRK or they’ll justify the killing, sanctions and oppression the US empire imposes on them. Actually fucking gross.

    Only discovered this post now.

This is china San Francisco where one mistep can lead you to accidently landing in a forbidden area. unsafe neighborhood.

Actually experienced that myself. Took one wrong turn from the hotel as a dumb European and the vibe felt immediately off. Empty streets in the middle of such a large city is creepy as fuck.
