To be honest, every time I hear about someone coming to the US in the last year and getting fucked over, my first thought tends to be, “how can you be so stupid as to visit the US now of all times?”
I’m not thinking they deserve it, but I do tend to think anyone who visits here is asking for it.
He went to a known totalitarian police state to fuckaround, which is not just stupid, it’s MONUMENTALLYSTUPID and undeserving of sympathy, and now he’s findingout.
“It was stupid” /=/ “He deserved it for committing a crime against the PEOPLE’S totalitarian police state!”
Imagine someone using the same “that was stupid therefore they deserved the punishment” logic with another country attacking some US facility…
