For me, I didn’t have any transportation so it was Grom or e-bike. The roads around here aren’t particularly bike friendly, so I went with the Grom.

The car is pretty much for trips over 35-40 miles or grocery shopping. Even with saddle bags, the Grom can’t carry much.

I’ll take the Grom on longer rides but only if time isn’t much of a factor.

Sounds like a pretty good choice.

I frequently get groceries on my bike but it’s a Portola with a front rack and 50L panniers. My roads suck, however my commutes are relatively short speeds aren’t high (under 30 pretty much always and frequently less than 10 miles).

If you took the Grom apart, you could probably fit it in the Portola lol, It only weighs 223 lbs so it could carry it too. The Grom beats the shit out of the Portola in terms of speed and range though, by a lot.
