oh, i guess beehaw doesn’t federate with lemmy.world still, so you probably didn’t see the other reply to my post…

basically, the second panel has the sylveon in a vest that’s covering a hoodie you can see in the third panel. the author just didn’t draw in the act of removing it, so it’s kind of weird

but there’s nothing about it that would really suggest it’s AI

Oh no then it was my bad, i simply blamed ai thinking it hallucinated a different shirt. I dont think the art looked like ai i just made a instant incorrect assumption.

Yes, you made a faulty assumption without evidence. This is how AI witch hunting happens, and it causes real harm to artists and writers when people accuse them of using AI without evidence or merit, just based on feelings and vibes.

Even though more sophisticated generation with manual editing is possible and probably a thing, I don’t think you’ll see AI keeping something completely unchanged for multiple panels. Aside from looking less AI it makes no difference for AI since it can easily “redraw”. If you pay attention to Umbreon, you’ll notice she barely changes. From second to third panel only the mouth changes. All panels are completely the same below the head
