I’m sure some people voted for this asshole just because they wanted another piddly rebate check… people can be so awful. Sell your soul for a few hundred dollars go ahead.

      People are desperate and uneducated.

It’s sad but people will do a lot of bad things for a few hundred dollars.

I do get that, but, you can’t just sell out everyone else in the country because you are having a hard time. I’m sorry. I have had hard times before where I was scraping together change to eat and I would never ever do that. I know everyone has different circumstances but that is just something too big.

Don’t forget the uneducated part. Or maybe I should say under-educated.

I’m frustrated with them too. I could never either. But I was taught empathy from my family and l had teachers who taught me to think critically and consider biases.

Yeah, so did I, but I’m saying this is different and inexcusable. You can’t vote for a fascist for any reason. Not for a million dollars.

But we need to consider how our shared perspective differs from theirs.

they don’t fuckin’ understand fascism, history, any of tbat

This is the problem we need to address.

We need to teach them, but so many don’t want to learn. In such cases I agree with Joel, it inexcusable and impossible to actually fix them. It’s not their fault their are broken, but they are fundamentally BROKEN as humans.
