        I was talking about the clothing, not the movement itself though. The movement itself is a nationalist mess and can be pretty toxic. And they have the same toxic perfectionist mindset you find in some lolita fashion communities.

    A friend of mine back in high school liked coming to school in a full Chinese military uniform, including the hat. She was a short woman so I wonder where she got one that fit.

      I mean a lot of Chinese people of the time were pretty short due to experiencing famine and food insecurity. Between the Opium wars, Japan, and then their self-own from killing the sparrows there were long periods of insufficient food. Its a noticeable thing that gen X and Millenial Chinese are often significantly taller than their Silent/Boomer parents as food insecurity went down.
