The racing has been good but not exactly plentiful. However, I have appreciated the strategy battle. While I’m happy for Lewis getting some luck, I do wish we would have gotten the tense finish we would have gotten without the VSC.

I see what you mean but there have been some nice legit overtakes. Definitely more of a tyre race though, you are right

I mean, most have been just passes due to insane tyre delta and otherwise it’s been mostly driving spread out so as to not to kill the tyres. F2 earlier had some actual nice moves though.

I really didn’t expect him to be able to nurse those tyres in the feature. And he actually made some moves too (albeit with a huge tyre delta). He is damn fast, but his racecraft has been lacking a bit so far otherwise.

I think we will start to see him come in to it now. It was the same with Fornaroli, once he “got it” he was fairly unstoppable. Maybe not in the ultimate form like Piastri was but probably more comfortably dominant than eg Pourchaire or Drugovich were. Drugo had the 1 good engine in his winning season as well, I would argue.

Also nice to see Herta in the mix. Huge risk for him joining f2, given the consequences if he drowns in it (for Indy as well!)

I mean, I haven’t been super impressed by Herta personally. But yeah, Camara is clearly a talent.
