I dont know if they are really that similar. The idea of a valley leading to a cave or opening in a wall isn’t exactly original to either piece of work. I think that the one you linked might be similar either by coincidence or artists subconscious, but I highly doubt it is inspired by this artwork.
Any idea if this predates the artwork for the German show Dark? They’re strikingly similar.
