Backstory (tl;dr easily switch between my computer and phone (android desktop mode) with the push of a button).

I have the button, but the USB the cables seems to need to be juuuuust right for desktop mode to kick in.

The plan is to affix a USBC phone stand to my desk that I can just plunk the phone in there without fiddling with the cables every time. I tried the MCON Dock but the USB is apparently charge only.

Any products out there anyone is aware of?

    Thanks I thought about this option but I didn’t want to leave it in all the time. I’ve been looking all day however and it might be the best option! I wish I had a 3D printer I would print a cradle for a cable to snap into.

      Check around you for libraries that may have a 3D printer for use. Usually they just charge for prints by the weight.
