It usually doesn’t matter to anyone else. He keeps his private life private, but it was not a secret. People, including journalists, knew he was gay before he came out, which he was pressured to confirm after that one article seemingly outed him. Tim Cook being gay matters to his customers as much as Lily Tomlin being gay matters to her audiences.
Lily Tomlin didn’t go to great lengths to hand Trump a participation trophy. As a queer, I think it’s fascinating to see gay people who do stuff like this.
He is rich and powerful. Thats enough to stay out of the gossip if you want to.
