I’m pretty sure this would destroy the dollar as a reserve currency, probably to the point that it would be eliminated from international trade entirely
100% this is too blatant to work in any reasonable way. This is like a nuclear option that sends us back to the stone age and basically hands the keys to the global economy to China without a fight lol.
What they’re really gonna try and do is blame a cyber attack that hits China on rogue AI Agents (which to anyone who has half a brain is obviously bunk). Since that’s an obvious lie, China will retaliate in some way and then they’re gonna use that as a casus belli to escalate and claim control over likely Taiwan.
This won’t work, the US can’t even handle holding bases 1000km from Iran. China is 10x more industrially developed. The Pacific fleet will get wiped, and Trump will drop nukes (probably also trying to blame AI).
The techbros will have their bunkers, the fallout will be bad, but not as bad as everyone thinks it would be since China keeps the response limited.

They’re not very capable of actually playing things out. The font realize how precarious their position at the top is.
There isn’t a productive base to support them at all.
