It doesn’t rust in rain. At this point I’m no longer sure if people just don’t know or wether they’re intentionally spreading disinformation.
Iron particles from brake rotors that are suspended in the air land on the vehicle and react with the stainless steel causing them to rust. The iron particles that is, not the stainless steel. Vehicle detailers call this “fallout” and there are cleaning products intented to remove that. It’s surface contamination that cleans off. The vehicle itself isn’t rusting no matter how hard people wish it did.
Probably no other vehicle because they have paint and clearcoat so the iron particles don’t come in contact with metal and thus the reaction doesn’t happen. However it still sticks to the paint too and needs to be cleaned off regurlarly. If you go buy a bottle of fallout remover and spray it onto the doors of your vehicle you’re going to see a ton of pink streaks indicating iron contamination.
I’ve personally not owned a single car that haven’t had rust on it. And not just on the surface but the panels literally rusting thru. This will never be an issue with cybertruck.
I mean now it won’t rust every time it rains

How many other cars have this problem?
Never saw it on any of mine.
