Red Flag Laws are a dangerous attack on constitutional rights…and I’m not talking about the 2A.

They are a blatant violation of the 4th, 5th, and 6th Amendments, and in many cases also the 1st.

    Unreasonably seizures (4th)

Depriving someone of liberty and property without due process (5th)

Not being represented by council, be allowed to confront witnesses or gather their own whitnesses (6th)

All done with the justification of things a person said or the way they act (1st)

A judge ordering a person to give up their rights and property without a trial, based on accusations, or even an investigation of the accusations…is fucking terrifying.

If the law describes the process and the measure is done based on that process, how does it violate 4 and 5?

And possibly it will require a court hearing to assure 6, I don’t know.
