Customer talking to the contractor:
“… And this is where my bed will go… Yeah it’s raised off the floor so I can store my business tablets underneath… Yeah don’t worry about payment, my copper is top quality!”
“Curse you, Ea-nāṣir!”
It’d be really helpful if I read Sumerian right now, figure out which rooms were which.
Well, the main and only entrance/exit is at the bottom. So, already one major fire hazard and code violation. The top segments are most likely living quarters, which would include room for bedding and personal storage. Right segment possibly a kitchen/larder. Can’t speak much for the small left segments, aside from more storage.
Who are you, so well-versed in ancient Sumerian building code?
I’m sure the courtyard is a refuge in case of emergency.
