    Google fully killed Invidious. The new recommendation is FreeTube combined with Libredirect add-on in Firefox.

      Yes I know they killed invidious and something else… Can’t remember just now… I’ll look into the others but a storage card for more dls isn’t an option.

        You can still self-host Invidious. I’m doing this for 1-2 weeks without any problems. What does not work: Public instances hosted in data centers, because YouTube blocked lots of cloud IPs. @Maeve@Maeve@kbin.earth

            Ah! I thought for a second it could be that, but when I looked it up and saw things relating to data centers, I wasn’t sure.

            Freetube just streams things directly, so you should be able to watch with it without any additional storage requirements.

                The client, yes. I was thinking you may have been under the impression that it would download each video to your hard drive to view them first, which would use a tremendous amount of storage.

                The client itself is 262mb installed, at least on my windows PC.
